Photographer Toru Takamatsu


Biography
Born in Toyama Prefecture, Japan in 1973. After graduating from university, he went to Europe and started photography. He planned, designed and operated Japan's first full-scale digital photography studio and led it to success (Konica make-up photo studio folia, 1999). He shot more than 700 pages a year in fashion, music and TV magazines in the late 2000s. From the first issue to the heyday, Koakuma ageha, which was in charge of the cover shooting, has sold more than 13 million copies in Japan for 4 years. A certified coder for the Paul Ekman Group FASC (Facial Action Coding System).
